DOES THE OFFICE ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?

No. Zephyr Sport and Spine is a non-insurance-based practice. We made the deliberate choice, from the beginning, to operate as a cash-based and out-of-network practice. This is to ensure that our treatment plans are not dictated by third-party regulations.

WHY IS THE OFFICE NON-INSURANCE-BASED?

Our business model allows for longer patient-practioner time, a multi-therapy approach and comprehensive exercise plans that are tailored to each patient. In most cases, the out-of-pocket cost will be LESS than an in-network provider because there can be fewer add-on cost (due to non-insurance coverage for soft-tissue/muscle therapy) and fewer visits needed.

DOES THE OFFICE ACCEPT HRA/HSA/FSA PAYMENTS?

Yes we do!

DOES THE OFFICE PROVIDE SUPERBILLS FOR OUT-OF-NETWORK CARE? 

Yes! We can provide you with a Superbill after your visit that you would send directly over to your insurance. Depending on your insurance plan and your out-of-network benefits, it is possible you can receive either a percentage of reimbursement or the amount paid will simply count towards your deductible. Review your Explanation of Benefits for specific details on out-of-network reimbursement.
